Rembrandt was born in a time and place ideal for being a gifted artist. For his country of the Netherlands, this was a heady and prosperous time. After declaring its independence from Spain in 1581, the Netherlands enjoyed a peaceful respite from its power-hungry neighbors' interference.
Rembrandt is a very well-known artist! Great description. In the future, be sure to write everything in your own words (and not copy directly from a website).
